Start free, and stay free as long as you want.

When you want the tools that save the most time, like the circuit calculators, the circuit blocks, a parts list with buy links, and Export for KiCad (beta), Pro takes away every limit. A whole year costs about the same as one pedal.

Every new account gets 7 days of Pro free, and you don't need a credit card.

How it works

Draw it, run it, and hear it.

Draw it

Drag out the parts pedal builders use, wire them up, and type the values the way you already write them, like 4k7, 4.7k, or 100n.

Run it

Press the one big Run button, and you'll see the frequency curve, the waveform in real volts, and your voltages. There's nothing to set up, and you can't mess it up.

Hear it

Play a real guitar through what you drew and into a NAM amp, or use your own playing and your own amp file. Turn a knob, play it again, and hear what changed.

Questions

Here are the questions people ask before they start.

Is PedalSpice free?

Yes. There's a Free plan you can keep as long as you want. Every new account also gets 7 days of Pro free first, and you don't need a credit card.

How much does it cost?

Pro is $79 every 3 months, or $229 a year. The yearly plan comes to $19.09 a month and saves you $87. A whole year costs about the same as one pedal.

Why would I pay for PedalSpice when LTspice and other programs are free?

PedalSpice is much easier to use, and it's made just for pedal builders. But there's another big reason. When a free program gives you trouble, there's usually no one to ask. You're left to figure it out yourself, or post on a forum and hope someone answers someday. When you pay for PedalSpice, you get help from us when you need it. You also get new parts, circuit blocks, and calculators every month. Everything we do is about making PedalSpice more useful to you.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Every new account gets 7 days of Pro free. You only enter a card if you want to keep using Pro after the 7 days.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your account goes to Free, and everything you made stays. You keep all four starter circuits, up to three knobs on a circuit, ten guitar plays a month, and ten saved circuits.

If I stop paying, do I lose my circuits?

No. We never take away anything you already made. The Free limits only count when you add something new.

How do I cancel?

Use the Manage plan button inside the app. It opens the billing page, and you can cancel there any time.

What will show up on my card?

PedalSpice is owned by the Wampler Pedals company, so the charge shows the Wampler Pedals name along with PEDALSPICE.

Do I need to know SPICE or be an engineer to use it?

No. If you can read a pedal schematic and draw one, you can use PedalSpice. It runs a real SPICE simulation behind the scenes, but you never have to type a command or pick a setting for it.

Do I have to download or install anything?

No. It works in the web browser on almost any computer, like a Mac, a Windows computer, a Linux computer, or a Chromebook.

Draw it, Hear it, Perfect it - Before you build it

Start free, open the Tube Screamer core, change one part, and play a guitar clip through it. You'll still want to breadboard it to know for sure, but you'll know whether the idea is worth your parts and your evening before you spend either one.

Every new account gets 7 days of Pro free, and you don't need a credit card.
